Signature Series Arcade Machines

The signature series references what used to be specific models of arcade machines that we manufacture that had our 15,000 game list included. This list is still only offered only in specific cabinet models (Like the Raptor) but we have now also added the option of JAMMA games to be purchased in other models as well (Brute, Monster & Pedestal). The signature series is our game list that we have compiled over the last 6 years and has a multitude of systems on it. This is locked down for many reasons but mainly to alleviate technical calls of upgrading and adding games etc. This means that although it is an extensive list, it is not editable, interchangeable or open source. This leads to a limitation of not being able to save high scores, save points or favorites lists. With that being said, the benefits outweigh these limitations as we have extensively gone through this list. We do not guarantee that every game works 100% but we do edit and fix this list on a regular basis, any fixes, upgrades or changes are available to our customers for free within 1 year of purchase and for a nominal fee to all of our other previous customers if they so desire.

The Corporate Series Arcade Machines

JAMMA refers to a multi game bard with a pre-set list of games such as the 60-in-1 “i-cade” board and the Pandora’s Box brand. These are all made overseas, some have the capability to add games, save high scores, make favorites lists, etc. but not all of them allow for this. The 60-in-1 Saves High scores but there is no search function (The game list is too small for that anyway). Pandora’s Box boards come in many different sets of games and setups; Horizontal and Vertical. We use the Pandora’s Box Special 5,000 board that gives you all the options available. It saves high scores, allows for favorites lists, searchable, add 4 Player controls, show/Hide games and the possibility of adding games via USB. Although this might sound appealing it comes with its own concerns, these claims are mostly half-truths. The high score saver does not cover all games, it only works on the old school games such as DK; it does not work very well on fighting games to save initials and if you unplug your machine for an extended time it may lose the saved information.

The other thing to note is that the Pandora’s Box series runs on an Android OS system so all the roms/games have been converted to work on this platform and in doing so they have changed the look of the games to give them a more rounded smother look. This is great for a large screen TV but not for a small 32” or less monitor. This specific issue will be based off of personal preference, there is no bias here, we are just trying to cover the bases of the conversations we continually have with our customers. We offer this list in our base model arcades such as our Control Tops, Bar Tops, Cocktails and Origin. They can also be substituted in our other models the Brute, Monster and Pedestal which were traditionally only equipped with our Signature Series list.

Summary

All in all we have an option for everyone and want to be sure you know what you are getting and what works best for you and your needs. It is also worth mentioning that these types of systems are not compatible in any way. You have to choose one or the other, to change after the fact constitutes a complete gut of the internal wiring and the hardware inside the machine eg: wires, power, computer etc. The arcade hardware like the monitor, buttons, joysticks etc. are transferrable in any machine, they are universal.
